Welcome to Roots Rain & Ray, a place shaped by soil and story, and a slow unfolding.

I’m glad you’re here.
If this is your first visit, this page will help you find your way.

I’m not an expert gardener, a professional organizer or mindfulness teacher. I’m a woman who’s spent decades of life with seasons of growth, moments of overwhelm, and a deep love for finding beauty and meaning in the everyday.

For years, life moved fast, and I moved with it. I gave my energy to my family, work, and the many roles that mattered most.

In the rush, the house waited. The garden paused.

Now, I’m reclaiming my space and my peace.

Roots Rain & Ray is where I begin again, intentionally and with joy.

I start where I am. No shame, no judgement, just a quiet return.

What You’ll Find Here

It’s an invitation, not instruction.
This space is as much for me as it is for anyone who finds it.

If you’re here, you’re not alone.

It’s a place to begin without pressure.
This blog is for anyone who is ready to tend their own soil and soul. It’s about slow growth, mindful living, and creating spaces that feel like home, inside and out.

It’s a sanctuary for those who:

  • Feel the pull of the garden but don’t know where to begin
  • Crave grounding rituals and resist rigid routines
  • Want to organize their space without pressure

I write from my home and greenhouse, spaces that have become anchors in my own journey. Some posts are practical, some funny, some more poetic. All are offered with care.

I’m not standing at the end of the path pointing the way. I’m figuring this out as I go, learning right alongside you.

If you’re ready to grow something, inside or out. This space is for you.
